On Monday, March 30, 2020, at 5:00 PM, the Portland City Council will conduct its first virtual workshop and meeting using emergency legislation, Sec. G-1 MRSA §403-A, that allows cities and towns to conduct meetings online. The meeting includes an agenda item to consider renewing and amending the proclamation declaring a State of Emergency and Requirement to Stay at Home, which was issued by the City Manager on March 24. The workshop agenda includes an update on city operations, a legislative update, and a financial impact update.

The workshop and meeting will be conducted remotely using Zoom. Instructions for the public to attend are included on each agenda and below.
